We are pleased to announce that as of 31st July 2020 we will be reopening after the current lock down measures as a result of Covid-19.
We want you to feel safe and looked after whilst staying with us at Number 18 so here is a brief update on a few of the extra measures we will be putting in place. As government advice changes all the time we will continuously update our practises. If you have any questions or concerns relating to your stay please do not hesitate to contact us before booking and we will discuss them with you.
Please rest assured if you book with us and your booking does need to be cancelled or amended as a direct result of Covid-19 restrictions you will be fully refunded, regardless of our existing cancellation terms and conditions.
Initially we are limiting the number of guests we will have to stay at any one time, to ensure rooms can rest between stays as much as possible and our guests are able to distance safely. Although we have always prided ourselves on the cleanliness of our B&B we will ensure all cleaning products are antibacterial and all rooms will be fully disinfected before your stay. All pillows, duvets and mattress protectors will be changed after each stay and all linen and towels will be washed and disinfected after every stay regardless of whether they have been used or not. We will ensure that all public areas of the B&B are cleaned regularly throughout the day.
For the short term all of the items provided on your hospitality tray will be single use so they can be cleaned properly this is the same for your toiletries, wherever possible they are in 100% recyclable packaging to make sure we do our bit for the planet as much as possible.
We will provide sanitising stations on all floors of the property and at the entrance, to ensure our guests can leave and enter the building safely. Currently all communal areas will not be available for our guests and until further notice your continental Breakfast will be served as a breakfast basket to your room.
We will not be running a cleaning service until advised that we can safely do so but we will ensure you can dispose of any rubbish and all linen etc. is swapped over safely during longer stays.
We already hold a 5 star food hygiene rating and all food for our guests will be stored and prepared in our guest kitchen.
We pride ourselves on the warm welcome we offer at Number 18 so despite these changes we are still here and still happy to offer advice and guidance to our guests on places to go during your stay even if it’s over the phone, email or Whats app!
All we ask from our guests is to understand these changes have been put in place for your safety, we have tried to ensure your stay is not compromised as much as possible and we are happy to take on board any suggestions you have to improve this temporary offering.
Please do ensure that before your stay you feel fit and well and consider the welfare of the other guests you are sharing this space with, your hosts and the wider community in Conwy.
Many thanks In advance for your cooperation and support, you will receive up to date information about your stay just before you visit us.
We very much hope to see you soon,
John & Melissa. July 2020
